The Mãi Collection is made entirely from up-cycled plastic boards from PLASTICPeople. Rice studios sought to bring design to the potential of these powerful and beautiful materials. The simple, modular design is inspired by the versatility and convenience of the monobloc furniture, commonly found on the streets of Vietnam. The furniture, all flat-pack, is efficiently cut from sheets of material. The set is hand-crafted by a family-owned furniture maker, Minh Chuong, near Ho Chi Minh City.
